Pettigrew out for season

Post#1 » by Liqourish » Sun Nov 29, 2009 2:17 pm

Brandon Pettigrew, rookie TE, is having season ending knee surgery due to the hit he took from Clay Matthews in that Minny game. They said it looked so bad that Packer players stopped the game and called Lions medical staff onto the field for Brandon. :(

jesus are you serious? I kinda knew it the second it happened but i still hate to hear it. The way he planted than crumpled...you had to know that was the season

Thats especially disappointing since it seemed he was really starting to get comfortable and make plays

He's done for the year. Let's hope the surgery goes well and he recovers nicely.

Yeah....just get 100% for next season. That is all that matters

Agreed. I really like the kid. I think he's a big part of our future. Right now he and Stafford getting healthy are all that matters.
