Still super early though.

In reality it was probably more Pickens or Doubs. Watson seems like he is destined for a completely different type of usage.

Would anyone be disappointed if we had taken Doubs at 34 given what we have seen so far? I suspect not.

There are probably people still mad at Gary.

Damn that awesome news on Jenkins. Him being ready week 1 would be huge for the line.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

While they said (and I agree) they are going to be cautious it's still 4 weeks until the opener so there's hope. It's only been 8 months (vs. 20 so far for Bakh).

There's talk that the Tuesday/Wednesday joint practices with the Saints will give Rodgers and his receivers enough quality work that they won't have to play at all in the preseason, at least Rodgers. I'd still like to see them get a quarter/half Friday night.

He could obviously have been gotten a lot later. And he's done absolutely nothing until he's done something in the regular season (or playoffs).

Nobody has done anything then. People can’t lament about Pickens on one hand because he is dominating camp and ignore what Doubs has done in the same manner.

Anyway the true take away in my opinion, he seems to have Rodgers eye/trust so far. That’s probably the most encouraging thing.

So you give credence to what Rodgers says?

I've observed a pattern where it largely seems like Rodgers doesn't trust and almost doesn't like young WR. So I find it of particular interest he is talking up a WR. Lazard was already in his trust circle, it would seem he is at least exploring the idea of letting Roubs too, but we'll see.
