Re: Badgers Football
Sounds like TVD has started to separate himself the last few practices as QB1
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Re: Badgers Football
On that day besides Wisconsin/Bama you have
BC @ Mizzu
Notre Dame @ Purdue
A&M @ Florida
Oregon @ Oregon State
Washington St vs Washington
Georgia @ Kentucky
LSU @ South Carolina
Not exactly a monster slate.

Re: Badgers Football
It sounds as though the DL depth is very thin and they completely struck out in the spring transfer season. It could get ugly against this schedule if they don't stay healthy there.

Definitely the position group I'm most worried about. I think Thompson & Neal are solid starters and even Barten is OK depth but they seemingly have absolutely nothing for 2024 behind those 3. 3 okish DL just isn't enough in the Big 10

Re: Badgers Football
Looks like they got a transfer, Brandon Lane. Looked as though the spring window was over, but alas, they got a guy.

Re: Badgers Football
I guess a back door way for the NCAA to clamp down on the insanity would be to to shrink the transfer window and maybe even have an actual limited Signing Day or Week for high school players so they can't flip flop over and over.

Re: Badgers Football
If VC and PE get involved - and you have to imagine each will - there will be some spectacular flameouts, especially for the public P5 schools. There's not only going to be programs ruined, there will be entire universities kneecapped.

Just can't get excited about "commitments" anymore until they actually suit up.
