For a guy who's about to turn 41, Rodgers looks great. For a NFL quarterback, he looks garden variety.
I'm sure he'll have some good games this year. So will Daniel Jones.

My guess is that Rogers starts pretty good and then as the ticky-tacky naggy hurts start piling up on the 41 year old bod, his performance tapers off

True, except he still has happy feet when he feels the rush - whether it's actually there or not.
This was pretty much what always made blitzing Aaron impossible up until 2022. Just like late career Favre, he was a master at maneuvering the pocket with his footwork and lateral agility. Then he lost that last bit of mobility, and he just doesn't have the size or scheme versatility to adjust his style of play quite like Brady did. I don't know why people just assumed he'd be anywhere near as effective without the mobility. Manning and Brees were completely toast at his age and they were arguably better pocket passers, and also didn't tear their Achilles.
