I get all the criticism this coaching staff deserves, and some of the heat coming onto Fickell. But at this point if Locke is as bad as we say he is, won't Fickell pretty much get a free pass this year because of the Van Dyke injury? I feel they can always point to that as a major turning point in the season and why they didn't achieve all their goals (assuming they end up losing the rest of the majorly competitive games i.e. Penn state, Oregon, probably Iowa and/or Minnesota).

Jump Around used to be cool until every **** broadcast team made a huge deal about it every **** game.

Sure Purdue is terrible but this was still a good win.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That was a total boat race. I know Purdue is bad but this game should have fans feeling pretty good, heck Nebraska only beat them 28-10. We were up 14 after the 1Q, 15 at half, and 36 after the 3Q. Besides Locke's 2nd INT which was a truly awful throw, it's hard to ask for a better performance all the way around. Locke played well, Tawee ran well, Trech & Vinny Anthony made plays, the OL was great. The D as a whole was awesome. This was a good game

That was a good game. It was nice to see us trounce someone, even someone on the bottom-of-the-barrel. It's just been too long. Locke's best game without a doubt; he looked especially good in the second half. I think his best ball was to (IIRC) Anthony, about 10-15y for a first down while he was well covered. No YAC, but the right placement for the completion. Anthony and Kekahuna look like the guys we need to be throwing to, though I think this was CJ's best game to date.

Do it at Rutgers now and I'll be get a little more faith back.

Longo today said the Braedyn Locke checked out of a play and into another 17 separate times during this game and after reviewing the film he made the correct call 16 times.
