This was the main talking point in my section.

I will say that I had no idea they lost their QB. When did that happen?

Twisted his ankle on the sack right before halftime.

They just look untalented. Won't improve unless they get a rich donor or the system changes. Anyone you do manage to develop will transfer to the highest bidder if you don't have the money.

Just a discouraging performance. I came in expecting to lose by a decent amount and still left disappointed. Locke wasn't good, Longo wasn't good, Tawee wasn't good, the WRs weren't good, the OL wasn't good. The D was good to start but wore down. Just disappointing is all I can say

6:30 start at Iowa
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Pretty sure we’re gonna finish 5-7 to honor our QB’s height.

Seriously, that's part of the problem, he so immobile , stays in the pocket and can't see over the lineman! Its just crazy that we struggle so hard to get a athlete who can throw and run the ball here. why have the run option in our playbook if Locke won't run it 95% of the time, the defensive ends just crashed down never worrying that Locke would keep it.

You either need to be geographically close to QB talent or have tons of money to offer. We’ve never had either of those things.

They held Penn St to 7 points in the 1st half. I'd call that pretty good

They got whatever they wanted in the 1st half. Allar completed like 80% of his passes for 8 yards per attempt. The only thing that stopped them were a couple penalties and a horrific drop by a WR who had nobody within 10 yards of him. We're really lowering the bar if that performance was "good." It's a miracle we only gave up 7 in the half.

Agreed that the defense was worse than the numbers indicated in the first half. That said, PSU is a little stronger at the skill positions than I gave them credit for, and their schemes are excellent. I'm not mad at the defense, and they forced more than their fair share of punts despite generally getting carved up.

I'm really disappointed in the conservative play-calling, the drops, the interception, and the frequent Locke panic attacks.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Defense was more than fine after the first 2 drives. Penn st didnt do much until the 4th quarter.
