Well, this team ain't gonna be as injury ridden as my Lakers were this season.

We were injury ridden last season with Matsui and Sheff, but is was also a blessing in disguise as we discovered Melky and realized what Abreu can bring to the table, and we brought back old Yankee baseball.

Oh man, I hope so. I've never seen him pitch. Not even in the PreSeason.

It just goes to show you you can't rely on Mussina anymore. He's just too old and his body is too creaky. This is going to be his 4th straight year where he isn't going to hit 200 innings, despite the fact that he has been one of the highest paid pitchers in the game during that time.

He's 38, he's was awful in the spring, and he hasn't pitched well so far this season as well as his velocity being pretty off from his normal speeds. Let's face it --- I hate to make a knee-jerk reaction out of this but it may be time to dip into our stockpile of SP's in the farms.

Maybe it's too soon -- it aint my choice but I say bring someone up and see what they can do --- if not to just pitch til he gets back.

P.S. -- still atleast 2 weeks til Wang gets back.

Hamstrings are tricky, especially with the weather we're having right now. We should rest him until he is at 100 percent. We shouldn't push him to do anything that he isn't ready to do. It's still early in the season and we're going to need him down the strecth, and we can't afford losing another starter.

The good thing about this is our schedule. We can get by with Pavano, pettitte, Igawa and Rasner until April 22nd....By then hopefully Wang will be back.

Just realized I mentioned Igawa and Rasner as 2 of the pitchers we could 'get by' with.......yikes

We're going to need our hitting to carry us until our pitching becomes healthy.
