It's going to take a major injury to a star QB, then they will ban it.

They will either use the QB or run a version like we ran with Kraft. Then when the season starts they will find out that 20 other teams had this "stroke of genius" to copy Philly.

To be fair only 10 teams voted to keep the tush push. It was 22-10 to ban it. Just missed the 75% rule by two votes.

10 teams who voted to keep it were philly, Cleveland, N.O., Baltimore, Tennessee, Detroit, Jax, Jets, Pats, Fins. Thought it was interesting Buffalo voted to ban it but the rest of their division voted to keep it when Bills run it pretty well.

I'm going to laugh if a team like Detroit loses in the playoffs because of the tush push.

I think the tush push is just bad football. I don't think it's a fun play to watch and I think it takes away the excitement that comes with these 4th and short plays.

It is also too difficult to stop. I know Eagles fans think isn't a basis to scrap the play, but the league always makes adjustments to try to make the game more balanced, and they still skew too far in favor of offense even without the tush push. Yes, defenses can learn from rugby scrums, but with such a short distance that these plays need to travel, offenses will always have an advantage because they control the timing of the snap, giving them a split second advantage that is often decisive. That isn't to mention play action, which would be virtually impossible to defend if defensive players have to go all out to defend against the tush push.

The play should have been banned.

Easy way to stop the tush push. When playing a team like the Eagles, every time it's 4th and short. Put in all of your backup players.

Have the linebackers push the Dline to hold the QB up. Then have one of the backup dlineman grab the QBs helmet and pull as hard as you can to the side. Keep doing that and eventually teams will stop running it on you or the NFL will ban it.

TB did it once to the Eagles but didn't keep doing it. Sure they call a personal foul, one of your backups gets kicked out and fined. You pay his fine and however much he is missing for being suspended. Next time use another player and keep repeating until they decide it's not worth it.

Or perfect it yourself. 8-)

I don't care about the "push" part of it all and if you think that's illegal I ain't arguing but seeing two beefy lines of men trying to get/stop the other from getting a yard is good football. The Chiefs stopping the Bills in the AFC championship game wasn't boring.

I'm sure he'll try and downplay his backwards views, blame it on a poor attempt at comedy, and then ultimately cry about being "cancelled".

The one entry that surprises me a little, is for the Niners, with the extensive roster overall they've gone through this off-season. I understand the calculation is statistical on current roster, but it's still surprising to me.

Fairly surprised the Bengals are as high as they are

It’s also really arbitrary, with the officials having little clue where the actual mark is. It’s 2025, can’t we have some kind of sensor in the ball?

I think in China the league is now like 30+ teams. For tackle football.

We have 2-3 teams in Hong Kong.

Flag is pretty popular throughout asia. Lots of leagues and tournaments.

There are leagues in Brazil and Europe too, even with American players in the roster.

I reffed a game 10-12 years ago and there was a rule only 5 (i think) foreign players allowed on the field at one time. They had dots om their helmets.

Now i believe they don't even need the rule because it's taken off so much by the local population. Or the rule is modified because its a lot less Americans.

Out of pure nosiness, where is the gear sourced from? US, or local suppliers?

*edit* The reverse question might raised too.... Where do US teams source their gear?
