I get the feeling we're going to see similar results to last season with an average 1st half and awesome 2nd half, although for different reasons. Last season was his 1st time starting and he had growing pains. This season I think the injuries effected his 1st half performance. I don't think it's an accident he's been much better since he's gotten healthy

Yeah, I feel like we see him settle in in the top 8-10 QBs but below the elites when it is all said and done. I've been relatively frustrated with him this year despite a good amount of big plays. Back foot throws, throwing into double coverage instead of just taking the easy play, etc.

This is where I've been at all along with him. He will have months where he's the best QB in football and months where he's hurting the team IMO. That risk-taking is just part of his make-up. His Jekyll-and-Hyde college years show the same thing. It will average out to being pretty good, and you can certainly win a title with a guy like him, but I think a lot of people got carried away by last year's 2nd half.

I would add (without bothering to look up the details) that it seems they've played a pretty tough schedule so far this year, which I think makes it hard to compare this year's first half with last year's.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Since Love got healthy he's been among the best QBs in the game

Bumping this because we need a place to talk about whether Love is the dude.

I'm not anywhere close to being "out" on Jordan. I'd like to see him with another offseason to get healthy and an upgrade to his receiving corp (even if that upgrade is one of these dudes making a significant leap).

Just for pure accuracy sake I'll give the rankings on where Love finished the season

7th in adjusted EPA/Play
13th in PFF passing grade
12th in Passer Rating
5th in QBR
13th in Success %
5th in Y/A
23rd in CPOE

Packers Passing offense overall was 3rd by DVOA(not all Love but he's a big chunk of it)

This is why I always have a hard time judging QBs on INTs, it's so hard to tell when it's their fault or not. Ive mentioned this before but I do have a little bit inside knowledge on things sometimes and from what I was told early in 2023 a lot of "Love's issues' were routes ran incorrectly or miscommunication based. Specifically on the 2nd pick on Sunday it seems MLF is saying that's exactly what happened. It obviously doesn't absolve Love from every INT but certainly helps explain some of them.

^^^ If thats the case then don't be so cheap and get an alpha wr. My biggest gripe with Love is that he is not that accurate on deep balls.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
