I'm 100% fine with not trading Doubs this season and just letting him walk next year. He is a good player and a mostly reliable, safety blanket guy for both of our QB's. That said, his concussion history scares me. He might be the only guy to get one with the new guardian cap and seems like he might be one or two away from calling it.

I would need atleast a 2nd to move on from Doubs and that seems unlikely that a team would offer that. We'll likely get a 4th or 5th as a comp pick from him so I would need to get significantly more than that to make it worthwhile

For as beat up as WRs can get, you can never have enough skills in that bunch. Keep Doubs on the roster, unless some GM loses his mind and makes too good of an offer.

High quality starting corner is where the convo starts and ends with a Doubs trade. Picks are irrelevant.

If true that's pretty shi..y but I'm glad we got Parsons out of it instead.

Rapaport reported that we were the most engaged on Hendrickson, though apparently we weren't willing to include Kenny Clark (at least in initial discussions) before Cincy pulled out.

I'd have to see the actual offer, of course. No way am I sending the same package for a 30 year old Hendrickson over a 26 year old Parsons.

Maybe they twisted it on 97.3. Tauscher and Wilde reported terms were agreed to and everything was set including the extension with Hendrickson then when it was time to file the paperwork with the NFL the Bengals walked back and also demanded Clark. At that point we just walked away. If true, sounds like the Bengals did all of that for us to negotiate Hendrickson's extension.

But I agree, no way I do that deal for him since Hendrickson is older than Clark.
