I thought the same thing too but then had the 2nd thought of just how much energy his body would need to go in to healing from surgery and a broken collarbone at the same time.

Gonna need someone with a medical degree to way in on that one cause I have no idea if it could be detrimental to the healing process

Looks like he'd either have it immobilized for 8-10 weeks in a boot or have surgery with a recovery time of about the same. And of course he'd be in no condition to play football for awhile after that. I'm guessing they won't do either, he can continue to do cardio while the collarbone heals and be back on the field in about 8 weeks.

But I have no idea.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I am a nurse practitioner. While that's been used in mental health the last few years I did work in orthopedics before for a little over a year for the experience. Jones fractures are serious stuff and can become chronic if he continues to play on it without surgery, especially if he cuts the wrong way or gets hit at the wrong angle.

I have seen people have two surgeries around the same time and recover from both. It is possible but difficult. He wouldn't be able to use crutches to move around which isn't an issue as he can just use a knee scooter for the acute recovery time after Jones fracture surgery. The main issue would be coordinating the PT in a way that he can recover from both at the same time. This would be extreme and a lot of work but worth it if he really wants to come back this year. Better than recovering from clavicle surgery then coming back and injuring the foot more imo. If he injures that foot even more that could eventually lead to him feeling pain in that area for the rest of his life...at which point the NFL would consider him damaged goods and he would lose a lot of money.

If I was Reed and the collarbone needs a plate inserted to heal, I'd probably get the Jones surgery and just consider this year wasted. He could then have 9 months to do rehab and get ready for a big contract year. Or take a Watson 1 year extension type deal.

Put him on a Forteo regime and he'll be right as rain.

Browns have a very good defense. I would not be surprised if the offense struggles and we win a boring 17-10 game

I don't see it. Don't count out a few turnovers on defense too. It might not be a blowout but I see a comfortable win.

The only thing I'm a little worried about is a letdown game. We're feeling good, coming off two big wins, and then week 4 we head to a very emotional Dallas game on SNF. This feels like it could be one of those games where a young team overlooks their opponent a bit
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

This team doesn't look like they will play down to their opponents level. Micah will want to feast on the Browns OL with a statue QB. Myles Garrett will be a problem though.

If Tom is out, then Garrett will be playing against the right side of the Packers OLine most often? Belton or Kinnard will have their hands full.

Every team has games where they dont go as hard. It's just the nature of the season

While true this team hasn't won anything, there's no reason why they shouldn't go hard especially on the road. If the game is close it will be because Cleveland earned it.

Their defense starts games like Green Bay by making you earn everything. Problem is their offense is stagnant and puts their defense in bad situations. I would just play Shadeur.

Not sure if they'll make move this soon, but I could see Gabriel starting next week.

Have to feel a little better about the squad after today. Defense put the clamps on a team that hung a 50 burger on the Bears. Granted, DET was probably amped today. Can't start 0-2, with both losses in the division.

Should be a comfortable win but not smart to dismiss the possibility of a trap sandwich.
