I heard a rumor Favre was pissed that TT was shopping one of the star players on the team, and then he realized that is what he wanted.

If Jason Taylor can get 1 2nd and a 6th then what will Favre get?

I hope TT can get a couple picks like a 2nd, a 5th, and an a player (Defensive Line).

In order to get anything, Favre would have to tell his new team that he'd report and play at least a season. We might be able to finagle a 2nd or 3rd. We could put a clause in the deal that said that if Favre played two seasons, the 2nd would move up to a first and we'd get an additional mid-round pick.

The best thing we may get will be a pick from the Vikes for tampering; which would be F-ing sweet. We may be looking at a player coming back instead of a handfull of picks everyone is talking about. Whoever takes him will have to shed salery in order to make it work. I'm sure Favre will play for less but I don't see him taking less the 6-8 Million. Should be interesting

Didn't know what thread to put this in...

I was just listening to Mortenson on ESPN and he was saying how Goodell called Thompson and told him to speed up this process and start calling teams about trading Favre and then personally called Favre and told him he'll help him out if there's anything he can do for him.

That just disgusts me. What right does Roger Goodell have to be telling Thompson anything regarding personnel and how quickly he should be moving on this? Favre's the one that keeps saying he wants to play but won't even bother applying for reinstatement. I'm getting so sick of this situation. I just hope the Viqueens lose some draft picks and this tampering thing causes some problems for them.

why trade favre for picks? we were one good pass away from a super bowl last year and our window is obviously open. packer fans have turned into nerds when it comes to the draft, we could add a good player and win it all this year. the time is now.

Heard this being talked about...

What if GB trades Favre to an AFC team for say a 2nd and fifth round pick, and that team then trades Favre to Minny who offers the AFC team a 1st, + another...
