Do you think this board will take off? - or other?

as a mets fan, I'm a little disapointed in the lack of discussion going on. I check the board once a day - and often there's only 2 or 3 new posts - not much activity.

The Knicks board is the oposite - there is too much activity there - I want to read the draft thread, but it's 74 pages (over 800 posts) - and that's too much time staring at a computer screen.

But I believe that there is a happy medium somewhere between 3 and 800 and I'm wondering if this board will achieve that this year?

I also put up a poll for further feedback - those who know me will realize that this is the first serious poll I've ever done. - I am kinda curious.

I picked other. Give it some time, the baseball boards are new. Theres thousands of Mets fans who post at other sites who don't like basketball, so they aren't familar with this site.

Why were you banned?

Did you keep bringing up Frank Williams in all your met threads? You think he should be the 5th pitcher in the rotation instead of Pelfrey?

That's because 95% of all users on RealGM are basketball fans, these boards just began. Forums don't become active overnight, they will eventually come, slowly but surely..

The boards were just made not to long ago, so I didnt expect activity to be extremely active to being with. LTK remember in 01 how slow the basketball boards were?

Realgm is the biggest sports message forum there is (aside from Soccer) so im sure soon enough the word will spread out.
