Oh and as for the backup QB situation...I was always behind bringing in a vet. We're doomed if Rodgers gets hurt. Sure Flynn looked good, but that was against backups. Brohm has looked like complete ass all preseason long. They may be good down the road, but going into a season with 3 QB's that have barely taken any snaps on the pro level isn't good.

I was never convinced Brohm would be a superstar in the NFL but I can't believe how horrible he has looked. It's beyond pathetic.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Dead Serious. I don't know what game you were watching but Brohn looks absolutly terrible. Having a roster spot and being on a depth chart are based on merit from what you do on the field, not draft position. So I ask you, are you serious? Do you think Brohn is ready to play on Sunday?

Is there video of the Jennings TD anywhere, couldnt watch the game last night.

As for depth, Im kind of surprised with the way TT drafts with a lot of lower picks. You would think that this team would be the opposite in a lack of stars but a ton solid mid round picks everywhere. I mean how many draft picks has he had the last 3 years and not to be incredible deep with average players?

I think that it is mostly just that our 2nd and 3rd stringers are younger and less poised than other teams. I mean was Kerry Collins seriously out there last night for the Titans?

I'm comfortable with Flynn as our backup.

We have to keep Brohm, he's a second round pick and he didn't look that much worse than A-Rod did his first offseason.

He'll take sometime to develop but he can still be a valuable asset down the road.

I'm also in the boat that my main concern for this season is both the offensive and defensive lines. If those two come together the packers should be fine, but its not a sure thing so I'm definitely a little worried.

This is a pretty good team. If Rodgers misses a game or two I think Flynn will be fine as a caretaker. If Rodgers misses significant time we are in trouble whether we have Flynn or a veteran retread.

You DO NOT cut 2nd round picks after one preseason. Look how long Sherman held on to BJ, a friggin PUNTER he got in the third round.

So in other words Brohm is raw?

And as long as we're applying terms..

"Narcissistic Personality Disorder" (Also see Bernman) : Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. They believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......who does that sound like???? I can't quite put my finger on it but if I look to the East..............

I have another question, who the hell is Brohn? Is he from Hartford? I will say that I never liked BROHM and think he will fail, however it is way to early to call him a bust, he is just so overwhelmed at this point, he needs the game to slow down for him and that will actually take some time. I also predicted Flynn would beat him out, not sure how comfy with that I am though.

Even though Brohm struggled this summer, the Packers aren't going to give up on a second-round pick whom some teams graded as a first-round talent before the draft. By virtue of his performance against the Titans, Flynn has done enough now to make it unlikely that he would make it through waivers so that he could be placed on the Packers' practice squad.

Mags, I'm sure you're right because the if there is one thing the Packers Brass is it's that they're stuborn as all hell. There is now way they would cut a 2nd rounder because it makes you look like you don't know how to draft. I still don't know how there is an argument about how he (Brohm) should be the #2. I don't see Brohm being that great of a practice player were his exploites in the Red touch football jersey over shadow the fact that he can't handle the extreme pressure that is assosiated with being a NFL QB at least at this point of time. And if they do cut Flynn or place him on the practice squad it means that there is a vetern in the Packs sights to come in and be the #2. Maybe you'd like Doug Pederson, he was a great practice all star but when he had to actually earn his money he let a big terd roll down his leg like Brohm.

How many second round picks have been cut after their first preseason in the last 10 years (barring injury or some type of off the field incident)? I can't think of any.
