You are not imagining things. Wojo has had Favre-colored glasses on all preseason, so it's no surprise that after Brady goes down last season's 4-12 Jets leapfrog every other established AFC contender. If Wojo's first name was Brian he just might be the fanboy in this video:

But the Favre/Wojo/Brady conspiracy runs so much deeper than this. The real story about Brady is whodunit? Karma or a Lil Wayne conspiracy, or both?
Karma-wise, Brady's girlfriend Gisele Bundchen appeared on the cover of July's GQ magazine with the headline "Proof that Tom Brady is the Luckiest Man on Earth". That's got to be worse than a mere Madden cover appearance. And then this week, Patriot coach Bill Belichick taunted fate twice - first by not listing Brady on the Patriot injury report for the first time since the 2005 Super Bowl, and then again by not wearing his trademark good-luck cutoff hoodie for their season opener against the Chiefs?
But it gets even more sinister. Last February Patriot running back Kevin Faulk was arrested for marijuana possession at a Lil Wayne concert. The NFL subsequently suspended Faulk for this season's opener, so instead of sure-blocker Faulk protecting Brady from blitzes it was Sammy Morris instead. What motive would Lil Wayne have for Faulking up Tom Brady? Well Lil Wayne once rapped "I must be LeBron James if he’s [Jay-Z] Jordan". And just who appeared on the April cover of Vogue magazine with Lebron James? Gisele Bundchen!!!

And how does ESPN's Wojciechowski fit into this bizarre Lil Wayne/Lebron/Bundchen/Brady love pentagon? Well, in February, the same time Lil Wayne was framing Kevin Faulk, Wojo wrote "Look, I've never actually met supermodel Gisele Bundchen, but she doesn't deserve two-time Super Bowl MVP Brady. She probably can't even name any of the 18 NFL records Brady set or tied in 2007." http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/ ... ortCat=nfl
Coincidence? I think not. Also, I am pretty sure Wojciechowski is in Opus Dei, or is a Freemason or something like that.

That's some outstanding sleuthery.
I'll just put it this way: Wojciechowski is not not Mary Magdalene.

Isn't that the Packers' new blueprint? Grinding running game, efficient passing, supurb defense and special teams?

They'll be fighting for the Division. 10-6 should win it.
Mags FTW wrote:Yeah, that's OK. Let them rely on getting 2 defensive scores a week.
I don't know. If they can get one via defense/special teams, and one via their offense per week, they should be just fine.
If they can continue with the physicality they showed last night, and stay healthy, then look out. Even Orton was lowering his shoulder and going forward. That kind of toughness really helps establish a tone for the rest of the team. Orton is just very steady. Politics must have been preventing his rightful ascension.
And, they look like a real team. The players were engaged with one another and harmonious.
Who are the common NFC picks? Eagles and Cowboys? I don't think the Bears are far behind. Darkhorse.
The Tennessee Titans with my boy Michael Griffin are the AFC darkhorse.

The Jets look like the 2006 Packers. That is to say, that I believe Favre is still good enough to provide a 4 game improvement for a 4-12 team. So, as soft as that Jet team looks, I still think they can finish around 8-8. They'll get better as the season progresses, like those 2006 Packers.
8-8 or 9-7 might be good enough to win that division.
My only hope, is that by the end of the season there are enough 'Jet Favre' highlights, so that a montage can be made using the Wings song, 'Jet'. In the white reggae breakdowns they can show him having fun, and then when the horns come back in and the dynamics intensify, show him doing work. I can't wait for that.
