I love football but I do not want a longer season and longer playoffs.

Yup. The longer the season goes, the more it becomes a game of who can stay healthy rather than who actually has the best team. It would probably shorten some careers too.

Just looking at how dinged up the Pack are right now, imagine what could happen if you add spring games and a longer regular season (of course, all that could happen to other teams as well). No thanks.

Stupid idea. I'd rather cut 2 regular season games and 1 preseason game.
