We don't pay his base salary. The remainder of his bonus (prorated) is accelerated. That is what the 1.57M cap hit is. I don't think he had any further penalties on his contract, and even if he did, I am pretty sure they would have hit this year.

The question is, why didn't the remainder of his bonus hit this year?
