The guy used to cover the Bengals and Browns so he never really saw much pro ball before.

Scouts Inc. are the guys that have Rodgers as the 18th best QB overall. If you read their scouting reports before games, they generally don't even have the right guys playing certain positions or they aren't aware of key injuries.

Just a quick note...
By cutting Anthony Smith, the Packers will have effectively lost one (Colin Cole) and signed none in terms of qualifying free agents, which will ultimately translate into a compensation draft pick for us. Ted loves building through the draft, so that explains that.
