I think the offense was dragged down almost entirely by one player, but it doesn't matter. I can't give the O anything more than a C and that's probably generous.

Without reading the game thread, is it safe to say that one player was Barbre?

You would be correct. Lang has to be in there next week. I don't think I've seen a turnstile like that at tackle in quite some time.

Yeah, I haven't gone through the game thread yet, but I'm sure there was plenty to be said about the RT position. Barbre was playing against one of the best pass rushers in the league, so you have to take that into account. That being said, I'd like them to take a look at Tauscher again, but only if he's completely healthy. I'd rather they gave Lang a shot then than a Tauscher who's still at 60%.

Ogunleye is actually really pedestrian; except in contract years. Guess what year it is for him?

Well, if he's in a contract year (and I don't really care to look that up), he's returned to his status as a great pass rusher. 8-)

Sometimes a guy can learn a lot from a whipping like that. Ogunleye is a lot like KGB used to be, though, and it was good at least to see Barbre work him over on a couple of those big gainers by Grant. I wouldn't give up on him yet, but his leash has to be pretty short. Must protect Rodgers.

So do we get 2 wins for this game? We beat the Bears and the refs. I hate refs so much and I am so sick of crapy refs costing or almost costing games because they call phantom calls. If you don't see something you dont throw the flag its that simple.

Anyway Barbre is complete garbage and if I seen that guy on the street I would throw w/e i could get my hands on at him. Have not seen a player get dominated like that on every play since Plaxico Burress Man handled Al Harris. The offense played like garbage. Droped passes Jennings and Driver disapeared most of the game. Rodgers over threw everything till the last drive.

The defense was great. Seeing Cuttler going off all in the 1st half was priceless.

My concern isn't just that he gave up a few sacks, it's just how incredibly bad he looked in doing so. Babre didn't just get beat a little bit on a few plays, he got absolutely destroyed for most of the game.

Ugly game. Good ending. I didn't like the play calling on offense for most of the game. I didn't think they ran it enough on first down. Especially when Rodgers was getting wacked every time he stepped back. Defense for the most part played really well.

Lang is a LG folks. Just thought I'd throw that out there since so many brought him up as a RT. Breno would be the guy if any change is made.

That was the worst performance by an OT since Wahle back in the day at LT. Hopefully most of it was simply nerves because he didn't look close to that overmatched in the preseason.

Lang played OT in college, (mostly LT, but he did play 10 games at RT) and competed for the RT job during the offseason. I do remember that Wahle start against the lions though. That was a joke.

Lang played some RT at the beginning of OTA's but was pretty much immediately moved to LG. Giacomini and Barbre battled it out for the RT job so Breno would be the guy that would come in now.

I suspect Barbre will still start next week but they'll make it clear he'll get pulled very quickly if he isn't doing the job. Hell, having Moll in there tonight could have added another 10 points to our total just because we might have been able to put together a few drives.

Lang being moved to LG had more to do with the depth at the positions than anything. He can play RT if needed. Breno was out this last week . Not sure if he'll be back by the next game. Does anyone know what his injury was?
