The end of that game was hilarious. Dallas' defense looks like 7 year olds trying to tackle Brandon Marshall on his TD then Romo takes them down inside the Denver 5 before they blow it.

Always great to see Wade Phillips lose. I can't stand him. That guy raises his arms like he just won a playoff game after field goals early in a regular season game.

Wade Phillips is indeed a tool.

I also hate Romo and every time he chokes it puts a smile on my face.

Romo is so bad. He made one play yesterday. What the hell he was thinking throwing two balls at Bailey at the end of yesterday's game I'll never know.

That said Garrett has to go, too.

Seriously, he's taking Darren McFadden and Heyward-Bey down with him.

That team is an awful mess. The NFL really needs to step in.

A young, raw QB and two rookie WRs starting. Yeah, that will work out well.

Why they didn't just go with Garcia is baffling.

There are 5 guys out there that have won Super Bowls (Holmgren, Cowher, Dungy, Gruden, Billick). One of them will take Jones cash I'm sure. Although I don't believe a coach has ever won a Super Bowl with two teams.

I'd hate to see Holmgren or Cowher in Dallas.

If we miss the playoffs, we're hiring Holmgren. Bank on it.

I agree with you, though. The Cowboys with a good coach wouldn't be fun.

Ugh, I don't know about that. Not after the way in which Holmgren left. I realize it's mostly new people around now but I just don't see that happening. I'd give my left nut to try and get Cowher in here and have him reunited with Capers if this season goes south, though.

If we miss the playoffs there could be a coaching change I agree. Whether it's warranted or not is a debate we will have at the time. I can't see Holmgren coming back here but you never know. Cowher I would like to have. Capers is 59 and has had two head coaching jobs. Perhaps he realizes he should stick with what he does best. And the trend is to hire younger coaches now so I doubt he'll get another HC shot.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I don't think the roughing the passer calls have favored the Patriots/Tom Brady exclusively. Ray Lewis can complain about it, but New England was hit for 2 key roughing the passer calls in previous weeks against both the Bills and the Jets. The call was pretty bad, but it is going to happen to a lot of teams this year if the refs are calling them that closely.

Thompson worked for MH in Seattle, though. I think Ted's on the hot seat after this year if we don't make the playoffs, so I could definitely see him going to Holmgren to try to save his job.

Most people think John Fox will get dumped and Cowher will coach in Carolina where he lives.

Is it possible that we let go of TT and MM? It's been what, five seasons now and we have one NFC championship loss at home followed by a mediocre season? This year could be just as bad with how inconsistent we are.

Hard to day. I think we have a good year this year but if we don't I have a feeling TT dumps MM to save his own job. But Murphy doesn't have a track record so I don't really know how he operates.

I know the Thompson lovers will get angry, but I think this should be his make or break year. Most of this roster is from Thompson, and if he was willing to show five years worth of confidence in McCarthy, he should go down with him. The only way I would want him to stay is if he could bring in a high profile coach, along with a few more FAs.

I think MM's gone before Thompson is. Thompson will probably get an additional year to see what he has and that's why I think Holmgren makes a lot of sense.

No chance in hell that McCarthy stays and TT goes...Not going to happen.

I didn't say that...I said McCarthy's gone if we miss the playoffs and Thompson stays.

Aside from the insinuation that free agency is suddenly going to propel this team into excellence, even Thompson's biggest backers have to believe this is a big year for him.
