Good. He's been our best tackle this season.

I question if Lang has enough size and measurables overall to survive as a starting left tackle, but maybe he can be our solution at RT for this year and going forward. I'm really hoping Lang plays well and like Tauscher did as a rookie, just grabs hold of the RT job and never lets go of it for a long time.

I was at the game and didn't focus in on him much, but the offensive line as a unit showed a lot of improvement and a lot more fight. A week ago, Tampa was rushing their mediocre-at-best down 4 and getting home consistently. Dallas has a deep stable of pass rushers and was bringing heat often. Yes, there were still some pretty bad plays, but a lot that I noticed wasn't on the offensive line. There were at least three plays that resulted in Rodgers getting flushed or sacked where it was a tight end staying in or a running back that got whipped.

I was at the game as well and didn't really key in on the line, we were sitting in the row right in front of the Miller Light end zone and it was tough to see who was actually doing well or poorly. From being at the game I though the penalties were more debilitating than anything, always seemed like we were either going to start with 1st and 15/20 or we would always be in a 3rd and 10/15 due to a penalty.

Seems we gotta go with the kid (Lang) with the future unless he fails like Barbre. Tauscher rides the pine unless Lang fails.

Start giving Barbre snaps at LT as backup. And start seeing if he has any future. His final position try out. Seems since he sux at RT he'd do worse at LT - but He played mostly LT in college, maybe - just maybe - he's just too dumb to switch but would do well at his "natural" spot. I wouldn't count on it. LT remains #1 acquisition priority next off season.

Anyway for this season we need Chad to hold up at LT. Lang/Tausch "should" be OK at RT.

Feel better about the line going forward if C=Spitz, RG=Sitton, and RT=Lang. Have a decision to make on Colledge and need a LT badly as mentioned by eagle

Agreed. I think that's our best bet on the right side. Sitton has quietly been our steadiest lineman this season. He isn't blowing anyone away but he rarely makes critical mistakes either. Colledge has disappointed me all season long. I hope they go in another direction there next season. Clifton is done, but we don't have anybody who can replace him.
