Ray Rice scares me a lot more than he scares you. :(

Baltimore is middle of the pack in yards per carry, and the Packers are near the top in yards per carry allowed. I don't know why Ray Rice should scare us. We are good against the run. Do I expect us to completely shut him down? No, but I also don't expect him to go off either.

Ray Rice isn't just a threat running the ball. He's a nightmare to cover out of the backfield. He's number two in yards from scrimmage behind Chris Johnson and he's the only one on that offense anybody should fear.

I'm guessing that LP is more scared of Rice as a pass catcher out of the backfield or in the slot.

But that's just a guess.

I'm just scared of him in general... As a running back and as a receiver out of the backfield or in the slot. He is an amazing talent and a threat to score every time he touches the ball.

well played...

if flacco's ankle isn't bothering him, i won't worry too much about the offense. it probably will though, and it really screws up his whole game

He'd be perfect for MM. Look back at how MM used Deuce in NO. We really need that kind of back to put our offense into overdrive.

2002, 2003 he was a huge threat to run and pass. Even if we can't find a runner like Deuce, it would still be great to have that kind of receiving threat.

Agreed. I want someone who's a threat to do something catching the ball out of the backfield more often than when we bring in Jax or Green on third down. I think that's why Spiller is a bit intriguing. I'm not convinced he'll be a great runner on the next level, but he's a threat out of the backfield or in the slot (and also in the return game).

I'd love Spiller.

I think a big problem with our sack issue this year is AR not wanting to drop it off to stone hands Grant.

That's why I would love to get Hightower away from Arizona somehow since they seem to want Beenie to be a featured back there.

Hightower is also a great pass blocker which would be nice to have. He has improved as a runner as well. He'd be a great pick up in the off season.

If we win, everyone better have at least 25+ posts ready to make fun of Jerrod for being a Ravens fan.

I predicted in my little office pool thingy that we lose 21-17 and Ray Rice has 197 total yards. :(
