Also, guys, give him some credit. The German judge was a little drunk and gave him a fairly low score of a 5.0 and the French judge gave him a 4.0.

So one of those low scores was in there in his 7.9 rating even with the "drop the lowest score" rule. **** judges.

Lions will be better than the Bears soon, if not by next season.

Yeah, but how many years did Favre keep a crummy Packers team in playoff contention. The Tribune did a good article a month or so ago about how Cutler's stats are comparable to Favre at the same age. I don't think Cutler has all the intangibles, but talent-wise, I think he is top 10. He is good enough that a good receiver would want to play with him. The biggest problem with his game, IMO, is his attitude, it is one of the glaring things that sets him apart from Favre. He has the tools, but mentally, he isn't there. If he can figure it out, I think he'll be able to keep the Bears in contention as the begin what is sure to be a slow rebuilding process...

Looks like the Bears will be giving up either #10 or #11 overall for the Cutler deal, and roughly #43 for Gaines Adams. Their first pick will be roughly #71 in 2010.

The lack of picks will definitely hurt the Bears chances of getting Cutler some more weapons but I have a feeling Cutler will play much better next year. These last two games he looked very solid.
