Don't read too much into him flat-out saying he would choose between Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, Florida, and either Miami or Oklahoma? Err, okay. That is not an inference - he literally said he would choose from those schools. Withhold whatever hope you need to. Not trying to burst bubbles - just sharing what came straight from the kid's mouth about a week ago.

Did he say "I'm no longer considering Minnesota?" He has taken many unofficial visits to Minnesota, there was no need for him to waste one of his 5 officials on a school that is 10 min away. Minnesota was more or less one of his "official" schools. Trust me if he officially eliminated Minnesota it would have made the local Minnesota news papers, I have yet to see a published report stating he has eliminated Minnesota. By no means is Minnesota a favorite (or even likely), but they are still in the mix.

Edit: Most recent Henderson articles I could find...

Throughout the process, many have predicted that Henderson will stay in the Midwest when it's all said and done. Ohio State, Notre Dame and hometown Minnesota are still solidly in contention, with the Buckeyes and Irish making arguably the bigger early impressions.

Henderson has made official visits to USC, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Florida. Also on his list are Oklahoma, Miami, Iowa and Minnesota, and his fifth visit has not been determined. That decision will be made soon, Sean Henderson said.

No, he did not, which is why I said "essentially." What he did say is that he would choose between Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, Florida, and either Miami or Oklahoma. He flat-out said it. No implication, no reading into it. His words. He said the schools then said he would choose between one of them. It's not a free source so I'm not going to quote it, but he said it and I'm staring at it right now. That is why I said he "essentially" eliminated Minnesota. He didn't say he did, but he didn't include them among the schools he's choosing from.

We'll never know because he wouldn't admit it, but I'd bet that if he were to be honest about it that he just mentions Minnesota out of formality. He's being nice. 'Yea gee, the home school was in it 'til the end, but ultimately I decided'.....to go to a powerhouse.

Yeah I don't pay for scouting services, so I can't read that stuff. I wish I could though, I'd like to know how the question was phrased and what exactly he said. All I can go by is what the free websites, news papers, and message boards provide. So far I haven't seen anything that officially eliminated Minnesota. I kind of doubt Henderson meant to "officially" eliminate MN because if you have been stringing them along the whole time, why not string them along and say they were your 2nd choice, even if it is B.S.?

And trust me all Gopher fans are convinced he is just stringing us a long, especially after big time talents like Mike Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald went out of state. Your right, we'll almost assuredly never know if he truly considered MN.

Newz wrote:That LT video is almost as awesome as the NBA one with Mo, Durant and whoever else is in it, where they do the 70's stuff and Mo throws the left hook through a window.

Now that I have seen it, Chargers FTW.

Mo needs to bring out the curls imo, even if he has to pull an Andre Agassi and wear a wig.

Oh, I agree, which in a way is why I feel like the quote is so telling. It seems he was being candid and might have misstepped / had a slip-up by accidentally not mentioning Minnesota.

Either way, like I said I'm not trying to burst any bubbles. We'll find out for sure soon enough with signing day something like 3 weeks away.
