For all those who have criticized Favre for throwing instead of running on that last play against the Saints, check out Brett's left ankle and his right hamstring.

If his ankle and hamstring were that bad, why did they roll him out in the first place? Why not do a quick drop back and a slant? It's not like they needed 15 yards.

If he was fine to rollout, he was fine to run 5 yards.

Good question Twirl. I think that everyone thinks Favre is unstoppable until he actually is stopped and then everyone comes back to earth and remembers his limitations. The Vikings drank the Kool-Aid and they got the same results from him that we got every season, save one. He wrestled control of that team from Childress and he wanted to throw that ball, simply put, that's why he did it in my opinion. Chilly's fight to maintain control of that team was meager at best...
