I was thinking this same thing. Lee Evans only got 612 yards this season with their trio of total garbage quarterbacks. I would say, by comparison, that 829 yards is pretty impressive. Evans had 7 touchdowns, and Owens had 5. He might be a drama queen, but he has always been a very talented receiver.

For what it is worth, here is a little update on what TO was like in person...

He had a private area roped off for him, and he was announcing the game as we were watching it...more like adding in little bits of opinion here and there, but wanting the attention none the less. One of the people I was with asked to take a picture with him, and he said "Make it quick." Like he could not be bothered.

Aaron rodgers on the other hand saw my buddy wearing a packer hat, gave him the fist bump, took a picture with him, and when he found out it was his bachelor party (yeah, we are nerds like that to go to Sundance) went out of his way to wish him luck and be cool.

It was basically how I think of the players on the field. T.O. was sort of a Jag-off, and A Rog was a down to earth good guy. (though I was admittedly most in awe of Steve Nash who is a legend in my mind.) It was also clearly more TO that was talking about being a packer, Rogers said nothing of the sort and was slent about it the whole time. I dont think they were actually there together, but both invited by ESPN who was hosting it, so I may have overplayed initially the personal nature of them being there at the same time.

Wiretap is saying if TO goes to Cinci he'd change his name to Ocho Uno. I for one would love to see TO and Ochocinco on the same team especially if TO changes his name.

TO is really desperate to find a team. Nobody wants to touch this guy.

Chicago Would make sense. But Owens isn't Owens anymore. He drops a lot of catches, and is not an elite qb by any means. DO you want to take on his baggage bs ****? Especially with a loud mouth like Cutler there is no way I can see that ending happily

I just don't see why we'd need the guy. T.O. in his prime, sure, we'd pair him up with Jennings and we'd deal with the bull. But today is he really any better than Driver, Jones, or Jordy? I don't think so.

I want to see him go to the Bengals or Bears. Ocho uno would be some funny ****, as well as the inevitable blow-ups between him and Cutler.
