Today Goodell announced that ALL week 17 games will be divisional games and week 16 likely will be too. This is being done to help prevent teams from tanking and resting starters down the stretch.
Very interesting change.

I think its a great idea. It sure can't hurt things. I mean if you are 0-14 like the Lions 2 years ago you still don't really have much of a reason to try and win other than pride, but it should create a lot of meaningful games the last couple weeks of the season.
