Well, I'm jacked for this game, it's going to be a looooooooooooooooooooong workday.

I think if we win or tie the turnover battle tonight, we win. Turnovers can definitely swing this game. If we get a straight up O vs. D, I think we beat them. Our DL/front 7 vs. OL advantage is bigger than theirs is, our secondary is better, and we have more weapons. Just hold onto the football.

I do like seeing that their starting LT on an already bad OL is out.

I'm nervous that the Bears are actually improved from the garbage we saw last year and we will see the same exploitation of the secondary that we saw in the playoffs. But luckily they shouldn't have much time to throw the deep ball and have to keep everything in front of the safeties. That Cowboys game is a real headscratcher as they looked like complete garbage against the Bears. And the Pack always have trouble with the Bears defensive scheme.

Yeah, honestly, their speed on the outside at WR does worry me IF Cutler gets time, but I really think our DL + Matthews is going to really be able to get pocket push and pressure vs. their offensive line. I see us in the backfield a lot vs. Cutler. We just can't turn the ball over in this game though.

My worry is we see what Brett did against us last season. Short, quick throws and three step drops. Then we go vanilla and they hit us deep. It's the easy recipe to beat us. Rodgers will have to be sharp early and we gotta put them in a hole right off the bat. If we can jump out to an early lead, maybe it Cutler forces things.

I'm less concerned about us getting shredded playing a base defense because of how well Raji and Matthews are playing compared to last year. We also appear to be mixing in more press coverage than we played last year, which will also help on 3 step drops.

I'm guessing Capers and his staff spent a lot of time looking at the games where we got shredded to come up with some answers. Tonight could be the first real test of that.
