OT:Al Harris takes out half page MJS ad thanking fans

Maybe I missed this in another thread.

This was good stuff. Thought it deserved a bigger platform.

I saw the ad yesterday. Half page on the back of the sports section. Very classy.

The smart Packer players have realized that they have a goldmine post playing career if they treat the fans right. Endorsements, free cars from dealers, radio shows, etc.

Case in point - LeRoy Butler. He's done well for himself as motivational speaker/regional celebrity. Gilbert Brown, to a lesser extent, has done OK too - at least out in the western part of Wisconsin.

Classy move from a guy I always thought was over rated as a player but always seemed to be a genuine good dude. If he cuts the dreads he could be a tv analyst here for sure.
