Save it for when the Packers win the Super Bowl...
Go Bucks!

Re: NFC Playoff Picture
Yeah there's so many different scenarios it's crazy Brimley.
It's also crazy how hard we're going to have to cheer for the Vikings & Cowboys the rest of the way.Luckily both those teams seem to be playing well and are eager to end their seasons on a high note and play spoiler.
Luckily the Packers could make thing a lot easier on all of us and just win out.
But if that Giants Eagles game ends in a tie we will all know the football gods hate us.

If all 3 of us win this week.
Giants 9-4
Eagles 9-4
Packers 9-4
We lose to the Pats and the Giants beat the Eagles in week 15
Giants 10-4
Eagles 9-5
Packers 9-5
If we beat the Giants and the Eagles win their game in week 16
Packers 10-5
Eagles 10-5
Giants 10-5
Then assuming the Bears lose at least one of their next 3 we would then secure the #2 seed by beating them week 17 no matter what anyone else does.
Obviously it will be a lot of more simple if we just win out, this scenario is assuming we lose to the Pats.
Now that's the most likely scenario...at least what I see. But I'm sure that'll all go to hell too.
Thank God Tampa Bay lost yesterday. That was big.

McNabb isn't on the Eagles anymore so that won't be a problem.

Re: NFC Playoff Picture
It would be sweet if the Bears end up being the odd team out (I already kinda count TB out).
With the Bears tough remaining schedule and fact they lose the tie breaker with the Giants that might very well end up being the case at the end of the day.

That'd be pretty awesome.

Knowing their luck as well as anyone, I'm sure they'll go 3-1.

Re: NFC Playoff Picture
I just looked at the Bears schedule and it's really annoying to think how easily they could be like 5-7.
Shoulda lost the Lions game week 1.
Woulda lost to us if we didn't play a terrible game.
Shoulda lost to Buffalo.
Could have easily lost yesterday.
Then had great timing when they played the Cowboys & Vikings,we did too but still.
With that said if you look at their schedule the first 12 games and kinda analyze it and take their season into context, the trend would be they go 0-4 or 1-3 to finish the season considering who they play.
They've had great timing with some teams and squeaked out some close lucky wins vs teams that aren't very good.
Considering the Jets & Pats are playing for HFA in the AFC and the Vikings are at home playing spoiler on MNF then the Packers playing for their season at Lambeau I think the Bears luck might have run out.
But like Flames said, with their luck this year they'll probably go 3-1 somehow.
