Totally disagree here… Aaron’s huge arm is a big reason for his success. With a below average arm he wouldn’t be close to the QB he is now.
You can cite an extreme comparison like Montana to Ware all you like, but it’s still the exception… Danny Wuerffel is as smart and as hard working as any QB to play in the NFL. He was the total package except for a poor arm. It ruined his chance at a great NFL career.
I do agree there’s a lot that goes into being a QB and a strong arm guarantees you nothing. But it’s an important asset to have and greatly increases your chances of success.
