I suppose. I think that's more because Harrell had first round talent and Starks had late round talent. So you think because Starks had one injury and Harrell had two, it makes that big of a difference?Same thing with Harrell's effectiveness when he plays to Finley's. Finley has had about a whole season's worth of starts between the last two years where he was a prolific player. Harrell has never recorded a sack in his career. When he's played it often has been in garbage time and has made no impact on the team in general.
Well you've said "Judge them by what they do on the field" and when Harrell was healthy coming into this year I thought he was very impressive... Then he got hurt again.
For what it's worth, I agree Harrell ended up being an awful pick. I guess I just disagreed with and still disagree with your views on injuries.
If injuries are a thing of luck that can then stack and continue to cause more injuries... I would think you would be pretty skeptical about Finley turning out to be anything other than injury prone seeing as how he has been in the league three years and still hasn't played a full season.
Tearing your biceps tendon makes you more like to injury your lower back. Everyone knows this, except TT. He should have known what would have happened with Harrell's back.
Plus, there really aren't any examples of guys that had some bad luck injuries like a broken ankle or torn biceps tendon in college that have gone on to have long careers in the NFL. It just doesn't happen.
