Yeah I'll eat some crow on Hawk. I mean even the biggest Hawk enthusiasts will agree he will never live up to the #5 pick but he seemed to minimize the fact that he couldn't get off blockers. He still gets juked out of his shorts a lot but he mostly is a great asset to the defense.

I think a big part of Hawk's improvement has to do with finally having great defensive coordinator who uses him properly.


And give Hawk credit too,at the same it seems he has put in the work to become a better and more solid player.


I think a big part of his improvement was playing next to Desmond Bishop. Barnett and Hawk were just too similar. They didn't complement each other well.
