Like the position, know nothing about him, hope he dominates and replaces Colledge.

Schlauderaff is not a very athletic guard, but he always seems to get the job done. He is a well prepared player that never seems to be out of position. He plays with a "bad attitude" and fights through the whistle. He can be an effective run blocker, but he loses leverage at times and plays with a narrow base too often. His slow first step and limited athleticism may prevent him from being a starter at the next level, but his toughness and work ethic will likely get him a spot on an NFL roster. Schlauderaff should come off the board on the third day of the draft.

I'll be surprised if Colledge is on the roster.

Conference: Mountain West
HT: 6-4.5
WT: 305
40 Time: 5.25
Biography: Four-year starter at left guard. All-Conference selection the past two-years.

Positives: "Explosive small-area blocker who's been productive on the college level. Quickly sets up off the snap, stays square, and turns defenders from the action. Bends his knees, blocks with leverage, and keeps his feet moving throughout the action. Shows the ability to adjust and effectively knock defenders from their angle of attack with good punch. Keeps his head on a swivel, plays with a nasty attitude, and will hit multiple defenders off a single snap. Uses good body positioning to seal defenders from the action."

Negatives: Gets minimal movement run blocking. Lumbers about the field and ineffective in motion.

Analysis: Schlauderaff was a solid college lineman with adequate upside for the next level. He has enough skill and versatility to be a backup in a system that does not ask him to block in motion.

Projection: 5-6

Schlauderaff, 305-pound G from Utah, was third-team AP All-America

His name is going to get schlaughtered a lot by play-by-play announcers.

Anyways, happy they bolstered the interior offensive line. Ideally, the guy would have been bigger, but sounds like he compensates somewhat with attitude, and is a fit for the zone blocking scheme.

I will judge this pick by his answer to the all important question: Nick or Don?

Re-sign Cullen Jenkins since Jolly isn't an option anymore

OR

Sign Asomugha, stick 3 fat run stuffers along the D-Line, have OLB's supply almost all the pass rush, and if they still can't get to the QB good luck working open against DB's like Nnamdi, T-Will, C-Wood, Shields, and Collins.

Does Steven Wright write some of these?
