We had a ton of injuries leading up to that game. Walden also signed off the street that week and played extensively. We didn't have enough healthy DL to practice properly because Green got to GB so late.

I was so glad when the Steelers beat them just for the fact that i would have to listen to / read about his dumbass for two weeks leading up to the superbowl. I am sure i'd love him if he were my coach, but i dislike him otherwise.

When you are coaching a New York team, you have to show this kind of unfounded bravado or the fan base becomes negative very quickly when they aren't seeing true results.
