Good draft. Got depth and some players who will have a pretty nice impact imo. No real reaches, just another solid draft from the white wizard.

Does anybody else think that Ted Thompson may have had a hand in the scouting and eventual capture and killing of Bin Laden?

I hope Thompson is mentoring his eventual replacement. If his eventual successor comes in and says, "There's more than two ways to bake a cake," I'm going to lose my mind.

I think my favorite picks from best to worst with respect to draft position are in order:

1. Cobb
2. Williams
3. Sherrod
4. Guy
5. Elmore
6. House
7. Green
8. Schlauderaff
9. Taylor
10. Smith

I think that as far as quality compared to where they were picked, I would put Williams at the top of my list. My top 3 would probably be:

1. Williams
2. Sherrod
3. Cobb

The rest would be the same. I think that Sherrod was a steal getting him at #32, and I still wonder how Williams was on the board when we picked him.

Love the picks of Randall Tex Cobb, House MD, Green, Elmore, Guy, DJ Williams

Looking forward to preseason calls of Sherrod and Schlauderaff on the left side.

Really hoping this improves Red-Zone Offense, Second Down versatility, and Special Teams. Love the depth at corner, and I hope Elmore contributes on 3rd downs.

With the extra 4th round and the extra 7th round the pack would have had 9 picks so they traded down a bunch of times losing ground each time and end up with ten picks? Why would you want to trade a bunch of higher picks to get a bunch of lower picks? I'm sure a bunch of those players won't make the team anyway. They should have been trading up for a few quality players or even if they stood pat they could have drafted the same players or better where they were minus one of them. I just don't get it.

He probably targeted those guys on his board and felt he could still get them while trading down.

Razzano gave us an A. Cited Sherrod, Cobb as bolstering the offense; D.J. Smith and Elmore as steals. For some reason, it's a video. Don't worry about Dave's hands.

He thinks he's more likely to get a good player if he has more chances, and they'll sort them out in camp.

I get what you're saying but I too kinda wished he would have targeted a few guys he had rated higher rather than a bunch he felt he could get later. If that makes sense. Its just gonna be really frustrating when half the draft class gets cut in camp. Not worried too much though. Just trust Ted has become my mantra.
