You mean when the Rams scored, and it was 15-28? Yeah, made no sense.

You guys are forgetting about Indy if Manning misses the whole season. As bad as Tavaris Jackson is, Indy currently has the worst QB situation in the NFL with a Collins/Painter duo and they have zero running game to try and ride for a few low scoring wins.
Say Manning gets cleared to at least start practicing by week 8-10, would the Colts really be dumb enough to throw him out there if the team is 1-8 or 2-7? The Colts and Chiefs play in week 5 at Indy and that game could possibly end up playing a real factor in who gets to draft Luck.
When it comes to Andrew Luck, all i care about is that he hopefully lands in the AFC. Watching Cam Newton, he really impressed me and i can easily envision him becoming a high quality QB in 2-3 years as he gets more games under his belt. So i'd rather not see Luck also end up in the NFC because in today's NFL, nothing comes even remotely close to helping making a morbid franchise viable again like landing a really good young quarterback does.

They are actually exerting effort on the field. KC has no shame.

I like most people, fans or others around the game expected KC to regress record wise given they gorged last year on a diet of very mediocre to bad football teams. Yet, they still did win 10 of those games and really bad teams will generally lose a lot to half of their of games, even vs other bad teams.
Before the season after seeing the Chiefs schedule, i had them pegged for being around 6-10, but instead they look similar to one of the college programs like Florida Atlantic who go to BCS schools for a paycheck and get rolled by 30-50 points in return for the cash. I haven't read anything about the Chiefs, so is this a situation where the players hate Haley and have already quit?

I haven't watched too many minutes of KC football so maybe there is something crazy that I've missed (I've seen the scores of their games), but even with their insane bad luck with injury, they are still just as bad.
I don't know why I've defended myself a lot here as this is a relatively pointless discussion, I've just never seen a stranger consensus after 2 games in a season, so much so that I can't even mention Seattle on here being as bad or worse without people responding that it is a forgone conclusion that a team blown out twice must want it more.

I'd think they're both on the same level of ****. KC probably has it worse because it seems like they've tuned out their coach and they lost three of their best players.

Re: Week 2: Non-Packers
There was rumors KC had quit on Haley before the season even started. He's had a track record of alienating players with his style, and I think a ton of players were pissed as hell at how he handled the last preseason game. Then, as DB said, major injuries to two of their top three players. If I had to guess right now, KC would be my pick for Luck as well.

Unless Collins finds the fountain of youth, I think Indy is my vote for Luck. But they'll be right there with KC and Seattle, two teams I think have a four win ceiling.

Re: Week 2: Non-Packers
My guess is the Colts too. Polian is smart so I think he is going to try to turn a horrible situation (Manning's neck injury) into a great situation (drafting Luck and letting him learn from Manning for a year or two). I could see them winning only 1 or 2 games this year.

Re: Week 2: Non-Packers
I think the Colts still have too much talent to lose more games than KC. KC is **** awful and have been hit hard by injuries.
Remember, Collins only played in the final preseason game and only had 10 attempts. They signed him on August 24th, which gave him only a week of practice time before the final PS game and only two weeks and a half weeks before the regular season (with only about 10 days of practice time really).
One thing that may make the biggest difference is the schedule. If the Colts continue to play like ****, all of the games look tough for them (except the game against KC). KC has some games against weak teams. (Oakland twice, Denver twice, Minny, Miami).
Still, I could see KC winning only 2 games. I would think that Indy will have games where they will put points on the board once Collins gets up to speed because there is still plenty of offense on that team.

Re: Week 2: Non-Packers
I want the Colts to land Luck just to watch the QB controversy eventually build up, assuming Manning comes back healthy to play next year. Manning will then want to keep playing for another few seasons at least if his neck allows it, but it won't be easy keeping a talent like Andrew Luck on the bench multiple years.
That would be entertaining to watch unfold, kinda like a quasi-Fave/Rodgers situation in Indy.

Re: Week 2: Non-Packers
I'd like KC to get Luck and fire Jackalope. Haley needs to be selling used cards in some **** small town in southern Illinois.
KC generally has exceptional fans, so it would be nice to see that reborn. Last year was a huge fluke. Prior to that, they hadn't really been good since the 13-3 season under Vermeil in 2003.

False. A gas station in rural Mississippi or Alabama.
He needs to live in a trailer in a rural area in one of those states. He can beat his wife nightly while punting his dog several times a week. He can verbally berate and physically beat his sons for not living up to his unreachable expectations even if they are actually remarkably well adjusted given how **** up their home life may be.
Typical rural southerner, IMO.
