Maybe I haven't been keeping up on the deadspinning (I definitely haven't been), but when did this happen? I thought the McQuery incident happened after Sandusky had already retired.


It did. But he said "potential child rapist"...which is silly considering the fact that anyone can potentially be a child rapist.

On the other hand, what he did after being informed...that's another matter for which Paterno is responsible.

I'll never revel in, nor dismiss the death of a human being as anything other than tragic, but that doesn't mean the man isn't responsible for the deeds and misdeeds that outlived him. It's beyond disgusting that the media and others are whitewashing recent history like this.
