OTish - Questions for George Koonce

Post#1 » by PkrsBcksGphsMqt » Thu Feb 16, 2012 5:10 pm

George Koonce is going to be speaking in my small 'Representing Coaches and Athletes' class today. I figured I'd see if you guys had any good ideas for questions, both about the agent/player relationship, business of football, and just general Packers questions.

Probably won't be asking him why he had to resign from UW-M

A little OT but since he worked at MU and was an AD, does he think MU can survive with a BEast breakup?

Sorry Marty, I didn't see your post before I went into class. He gave a pretty interesting speech about the failure of NFL players to adapt to life after football. I guess that is what he's doing his doctorate on, he finishes later this year. Look for him to become the Players Union Chief at some point, it seems to be his main career goal. He'd probably be a good one too, he really wants to improve the life of players after they retire.
