If Nick Perry doesn't come in and take ownership of the ROLB position it will be a huge disappointment, I think he will because the alternatives are very weak.

This pick was very intriguing to me..Perry definetly has the potential to be a very dominant pass rusher..however it may take a few years till he reaches his full potential..in the mean time let the rest of the defense carry him a bit...until he gets everyting all figured out..im not exactly sure that he was the best selection or the pack..but none the less a great deal of potential that could pay off in the end...Perry will be coming in to a nice situation with cla matthews to learn from and what not.

I think it is fair to ask for a Aldon Smith type of impact, and before people jump on me I'm not talking about 13.5 sacks. Just the almost situational pass-rusher role.

I think Perry should play almost right way on passing downs. Zombo can play on running downs assuming he's health or the Packers could play some 4-3 as well in those situations.

I hope he can come in and get some pressure at the beginning of the year and make notable strides toward improving in coverage and against the run as the season progresses. The Packers desperately need a guy to rush the passer. I wasn't a huge Perry fan pre-draft and still aren't thrilled about it, but the need is obvious.
