Didn't we come pretty close to trading him in 2010 also?

They also like Smith, though, and McCarthy early in the offseason said something about Smith pushing for more time next season.

He was cut during the season last year by the Colts and didn't get picked up until the offseason when he signed with us for the min. I think TT just wanted competition.

Hargrove is also a 1 year minimum salary guy. NO let him go and he was cut at the end of TC last year by Philly and was picked up by Seattle and had a mediocre year. Just more camp competition.
