FWIW, I don't get the impression that he really likes those commercials, either.

Yep, he has a very Yao Ming-esq "I'm being held against my will" demeanor about him during those commercials.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

When Wilde has brought it up on TWA he always gives a short, brief comment and moves on. He's much more enthusiastic about his work with State Farm.

I did not catch the ball, there must be a penalty on the defense so I will throw my arms in the air and scream for a call!

Casey got beat badly a couple times today but I think he's gonna get better. These young DBs are fun to watch.

Agreed. He also forced that TO with the tipped ball.

Hayward doesn't come off as a guy who is going to be a "lock down" corner in the sense that he just shuts guys down. But he does seem like a ballhawk and a guy who is always going to be a threat to turn defense into offense.

I'd like another touchdown pass from Rodgers. To Jones. For fantasy reasons.

I thought the crowd was lame yet again for most of the game.

Even crappy offenses burn us badly, finding the holes in the zone. How about mixing it up to so they don't know what to expect before the play?

I've watched any number of weeks where Capers is getting his ego stroked non-stop by the analysts. I think that our defense has severely under performed for the amount of proven, and drafted, talent on it.

Capers certainly isn't the defensive guru that some announcers make him out to be, but once Clay left via injury, the pass rush got really poor except for a play or two.

There are at most 2-3 real "lock down" corners in the NFL at one time, sometimes just one or none. True lock down corners like say Dieon Sanders or Revis are very rare to the point quarterbacks rarely bother to throw that way. The vast vast majority of corners range from just the better ones being able to usually keep elite receivers from having big games to varying degrees of above average, solid, to poor.

I'd like to see Hayward become our version of say the Bears Tillman. Tillman gets beat i coverage sometimes, but in general is an above average coverage guy. It's all of the turnovers though which Tillman has a role in that makes him so valuable.

Too many people there who don't believe in cheering on their team.

Solid win, did what we set out to do. Cobb is quickly becoming a star, along with the outstanding performance of James Jones.

Let's see where our injury report sorts out in the next few weeks.
Ball so hard.
