So Ryan Taylor was fined $21,000 for his blindside, but legal, hit on the 1st Cobb punt return.

This makes sense.

Re: PGT and Bye Week Thread
So ESPN was just trying to hype their QBR stat by showing this season's top 5. Andrew Luck is #5, and Aaron Rodgers is not in the list. Let's break this down:
Andrew Luck: 57% completion, 10 TDs, 9 INTs
Aaron Rodgers: 67% completion, 25 TDs, 5 INTs
Totally makes sense IMO.
Andrew Luck: 57% completion, 10 TDs, 9 INTs
Aaron Rodgers: 67% completion, 25 TDs, 5 INTs
Totally makes sense IMO.

Yep, time to ignore the QBR if you haven't been already. I'll trust FootballOutsiders QB evaluations over a stat that was created by what I presume was just Trent Dilfer, John Gruden, a few Wide-Ruled Notebooks, a graphing calculator (advanced functions never touched), and a few cups of coffee.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

My issue with the Bears was noted before. I think they're a damn good team. They're going to make the playoffs. Anything can happen there. Would I bet on them there? No. I'd like to see them play more teams that don't turn the Bears typical 2 turnovers forced into 5 or 6 by putting more on a silver platter for that opportunistic defense to take.
I guess the main reason why I think that was a bad loss was because we were in total control of that game and blew a 21-3 lead at halftime. Blowing an 18 point lead to anybody in the second half constitutes a bad loss, in my mind. I also think that once you get past the likes of Houston, Baltimore, New England and Denver, the AFC is quite bad. The Colts will probably make the playoffs now, but I still think that was a game that you just can't lose, especially when you're up by 18 at the break.
I'm happy that Dunne's back. I think he's a pretty good beat reporter.
It was our largest blown halftime lead since 1957. I'd say you are correct in seeing that game as a bad loss.
