You can jog and even run with a torn ACL. You'll look like you tore something, but it's possible.

The reports are partial tears in his ACL and LCL.

It's always a difficult decision if you're a coach or a player, especially with the pressure which comes with a playoff game. I can see why Shanahan would want to trust his player when says he can play, just like how I can see how RGIII wouldn't want to be pulled. I mean, remember all the **** Cutler got the NFC Championship game when he got hurt but was seen walking on the sidelines? People in Chicago have questioned his toughness ever since.

The real inexcusable aspect of this, IMO, is the fact that RGIII wasn't playing well. He clearly couldn't plant and throw. At that point, there is no use keeping him in there. Cousins would've been better.

At the end of the day, a partial tear = full tear. They'll completely replace the ACL and he'll have to go through the 6 months of rehab. Tough break for Redskins fans.

It is a tough break, but you also have to really question the decision to play him, even before the fact. The guy couldn't even move at the end of that game (before the ACL injury).

So the Seahawks signed Longwell today. Anyone else picturing a scenario where we host the NFC title game, Crosby shanks a fg or two, while long well hits the game winner? Wouldn't be able to do anything but laugh tbh.

Is Rex Ryan made of **** Teflon? Jets fire the GM and both coordinators, Ryan gets to keep sporting his Sanchez tattoo?

Sounds like the Bears may hire a guy the Gophers considered but passed on. Marc Trestman of the CFL.

He's also creepy looking.

How many Badger/Gary Andersen threads do we need? This is a Gopher message board.

How many of you knew Doug Pederson was coaching, much less in-line to be an offensive coordinator in the NFL?

Andrew Brandt ‏@adbrandt
Chiefs name Doug Pedersen OC, per @caplannfl. Had him in GB for 6 years as backup QB/unofficial assistant coach. Gem of a guy.

Last I checked, he was working for the Eagles. Makes sense that he'd follow Reid to Philadelphia.

I think one of the AFC heavy favorites goes down, Packers and Falcons win.
