I don't think its that big of a deal he was sitting with the Vikings players. I believe the NFL or whoever coordinates the event makes the seating arrangements and its not like they are going to sit him with the Packers table knowing there has been bad blood.

The king of hyperbole strikes again. It was definitely awkward but it wasn't that bad and most of it was scripted to be that way.

I DVRd it and watched it this morning, I had the same thought, it was scripted to be awkward and Manning even made a further joke about him and Luck. I didn't get any of the vibes you are getting.

For someone with the screenname Godgers you sure love to rip on him.

Yeah, that part about him and Andrew Luck presenting the award was pretty good.

Favre on NFL Network said him & Aaron shared a few laughs last night, Rodgers having great career, Favre happy with his career, and he has no ill will. Mooch tried to ask about him going to Green Bay nut was drowned out by Sapp & Irvin. Then moved to Ray Lewis.

I agree with you that it was scripted to go how it went down and both looked to have fun with it. Then Manning with the great line about him and Luck, great entertainment all around in that clip.

Rodgers and Favre definitely seem good now after listening to his radio show. Wouldnt be shocked if #4 retired this year yet. Healing process under way for sure if anything.

Anyone see this nugget today?

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/891 ... bowl-xlvii

Where was Aaron Rodgers? In the VIP area, doing that thing where you tap someone on the shoulder and turn around, confusing the person tapped because they're all, "Who just tapped me on the shoulder?" Aaron Rodgers did that. Former Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers did that.

Where you stand behind someone, reach around and tap say their left shoulder, but no one is standing there and you are actually on the right side so they look left and either see no one or someone else and get confused.

Just a trivial prank but amusing that it is how Rodgers spent his time.

The relationship between Favre and Rodgers was never a big deal, because they never really had a bad relationship--just didn't have one really. The media hyped the animosity way more than there was, asking them about it at every turn and then hyping any fairly negative answer without even mentioning the context.

More interested between the relationship between Favre and Packer fans.

I don't know, Rodgers in the past would get frosty when asked about it, there were talks that Favre reached out to get his cell # and Rodgers refused to do so, etc. So I think there was some bad blood there for lack of a better description.
