This reeked of McCarthy getting smacked down behind closed doors. You could tell by his comments earlier in the week that he wanted Rodgers in and thought he was ready to go. You could tell by his comments today that Rodgers wanted to go. He dropped a lot of "as an organization", which I think was his backhanded shot at Thompson.
