A little surprised after the playoff debacle that they're raising again, but not shocked either. Getting closer to that $100/ticket mark, one ticket tier hit it now. I'm curious what price point the general John Q America Packers Fan says the Lambeau atmosphere isn't worth the price tag, especially when I can have a better all around experience at home.

Not surprising considering the waitlist. They could raise ticket prices every year for the next 20 years and still sell out.

Definitely, although a good portion on the waiting list don't realize you have to drop $2100/seat before you even get your invoice. But yeah, its tough to let the tickets go once you have them. We got them last year and probably would have to be in a pretty large financial bind to give them up.

Wilde: Prices in bowl have increased 30-38% since 2009
That # was much higher than I expected in that short time frame. In my opinion as long as the secondary market remains strong this won't be an issue. But if that secondary market tanks, which I feel wasn't as strong this past season, I think you could see that waiting list # start to disappear alot quicker. Why shell out thousands of dollars if you can just purchase tickets to the game you want on the secondary market within 150% of the face value. And then the rest of the season just watch the game from home which is probably a better experience. Alot of ways to look at it, thats for sure.

Damn, that 30-38% hike in just five years is hefty. But when you figure in the fact that we won a Super Bowl, had a 15-1 season the year after and have made the playoffs every year since 2009...it makes sense.

It's fun to go to a game every couple seasons. I prefer to watch the games at home on a nice hd tv. I do go to most of the open training camps every summer though. Always a blast and something fun to do outside in summer for free.

Valid point, but i'm curious on average how many people they have to go through on the waiting list to get someone to buy the season tickets.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

I bet it's more than one figures. There are many people on the list that completely unaware of the $2100/seat (green pkg.) Personal Seat License you have to pay within 1 month of having your name called. I bet that weeds out a good handful of people.
I see the reason for ticket increase, the Lambeau renovation went $25M over budget...
