Well we have officially used up all our OL depth - with Barclay & Tretter going down - if Sherrod or Taylor have to play - we're screwed

Like always a position of strength is now weak because of injury's and the season has not even started yet.

Classic Packers.

Sherrod has had one bad week out of three and a very solid camp in general. You're overreacting.

Yeah, we still have a quality backup tackle in Sherrod, in fact, I think you'd find very few better #3 OT's sitting on rosters. Our interior depth was already weak and is unreal bad with Tretter down.

Thankful it isn't a season-ender.

If you had a hole in a dam, would you plug it with a stick of dynamite?

His talent:distraction ratio is way too far out of whack.

Agreed. Although a place like Green Bay is probably the best possible landing spot from his perspective. Great team, great leadership, and limited in town distractions.

Sitton was getting some reps at center today, apparently.

WTF - if your going to use a non-center as backup center - why not do a full on preparation of Taylor and suck at one position rather then slide Sitton or Lang to C and insert Taylor at G and weaken two positions? Its not like Sitton or Lang played C in college - both were OTs.

Hope your right but the first game during pouring rain doesn't really count. AND his bad game was really bad against 2nd stringers. Yes he did better last game. I sure as hell don't trust him protecting Rodger's blind side. I am hopeful our 4 remaining starters have an amazingly healthy season.

That seemed odd to me because in the past hasn't it always been lang?

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

I get the Seahawks reference but your worried about the Bears front seven???? If there's a defense that we're going to put up 50 against it's the Bears. That D is BAD.

Been a big fan of Tretter since he was picked and think if he wouldn't have went down last year before the season started he would supplanted EDS as the starter by midseason but it is what is at this point. It's only a 3-6 week injury and if theres a good time to have a injury like this its this time of year. We'll be fine with Lynsley as a stop gap for a couple of weeks till Tretter comes back. Yes if another interior lineman goes down we'll in rough shape but all teams are dealing wit these type of injuries or will at some point this year

This will pose a challenge with Seattle looming week one but as long as Lynsley is horrible this shouldn't effect us all too much to be honest against them. That defense is predicated on speed, not push up the middle. It's more about how our tackles hold up against that D.

As for Sitton getting some reps that should come as no surprise right now. Lynsey will still be the starter. The Packers are only getting Sitton a few reps because I'm assuming he'll be their emergency center now if Lynsley goes down so they still can have someone step in and play if they really need it.

I don't want to downgrade the loss of Tretter even if it's only for 6 weeks, but the Pack haven't been hit to hard by injuries yet to starters, Raji being the only other of major significance, and if they have any aspirations of making a deep push these type of things will have to be overcome eventually.... Sorry but losing Barclay, Abbredaris and Colt don't make the list for me. Barclay is a fine back up lineman but a backup non the less. I also like Abbredaris but he would've been the #5 WR at best. And Colt would've have been lucky to make the roster. If the Pack can't overcome injuries to those types guys then any SB aspirations should be shelved quickly.

Agreed. Although a place like Green Bay is probably the best possible landing spot from his perspective. Great team, great leadership, and limited in town distractions.

I agree, those guys are being way over dramatic. Guy had some minor issues and sought help for them and seems to have learned something. This team needs oline help and the guy is a top notch guard who could maybe even play center. Why not at least have him in for a visit, green bay would be his best landing spot.

You have the greatest name in RealGM history.

Your take on Incognito is pretty hot. I would never sign him.

Thank you, idk I see the risk too. I just think richie could be a very good back up to all 3 interior spots and green bay runs a tight ship so he wouldn't be able to do much negative imo.
