As long as we stay out of our own way and keep the ball in Rodgers' hands, we should be the favorites to represent the NFC.

Re: Postgame: Eagles at Packers
So we're ranked 29th in plays run, but yet we have the #1 ranked scoring team
That's ridiculous

I don't know about Seattle, but I'm not as scared of the Niners as I was a year ago. Not just because of this current season, but because of the playoff loss last year.
Looking back at the last 2 playoff games we lost to SF:
2012 was a sound beating, but it was in SF and they had a bye week in which they installed a ton of that read-option stuff that killed us. They were a better team, but it would have been closer without those advantages.
2013, last year at GB, was close. If Micah Hyde doesn't drop that interception on the 49ers' final drive, the Pack wins. As it was, it was a tight game in Rodgers' 2nd game back from injury, and with like all our OLBs out.
This is a good point, we had some serious LB issues that game. I think we had a one legged Mulamba limping around trying to stop Kaperdick in the 4th quarter. There was literally no one left on the roster to throw into the ILB spot.
And yet it came down to the final drive.

Is that due to Clay? Don't know, but it sure seems like this team is much better with him taking many snaps at ILB.
Moving Clay around and using him in different ways seems to be more effective than tying him up in one position.
Other reasons for the better defense would be the addition of Peppers and Haha, Hayward is healthy, Hyde was moved to a better position, and Brad Jones is nowhere to be seen
I'm so so happy Brad Jones is not playing LB. He's doing well on Special Teams...WHERE HE BELONGS.
