No wonder sometimes you see him standing behind the center shouting, hand signaling, looking, and letting the play clock get down to about zero.
I used to think, "Man, for a hurry up no huddle offense, Rodgers sure does bleed the play clock down to below 5-10 seconds a lot." And I'm not talking about when we have a 21 to 0 lead. Even if hurry up (non 2 minute drill) I've seen the play clock run down and Rodgers taking some time under center before the ball is snapped.
I realize he's also calling audibles, calling fake audibles, calling protections, trying to get the D to jump offsides and other things as well.
I'm never going to question why he needs that 20-40 seconds ever again.
